Americans are fascinated with celebrities. Our most recent obsession seems to be with the children of stars. Every week there is a new starlet out there denying her pregnancy only to reveal a baby bump weeks later. With that are tales of delivery room divas and well paid nannies. I give credit to those that raise their kids on their own, just like most of us do but when I read that J-Lo and Marc Anthony said they go it alone I had to laugh.
Ok, so maybe they actually do but I doubt it. First of all, they have two babies, a ton of money and careers that take up a lot of their time. I find it odd that her killer body has returned after only 4 months without the aid of a nanny during all those workouts and regimented meals. When you hear tales of fur blankets and chandeliers in the twins’ nursery, do you really see these two stars changing dirty diapers and bathed in spit up everyday?
If I am wrong then I applaud them wholeheartedly. I am not ashamed to say that if I had the money they do, I would be all about having a nanny or two! With one baby, it is hard to enough to get sleep so I would love to have an extra set of hands to help out. Never would I give up being a real deal, hands on, Butt wiping, breastfeeding Mama but boy could I use a day off once in awhile too.
